BONES - ORIGINAL PIECE AND BEAUTIFUL ANIMATION
Heres my tune ‘ Bones ‘ ( well a 1 minute slice ). I recorded it on a day off on tour last year in a hotel room in Sioux Falls ,South Dekota . Made the beat using found sounds like door slams , table tapping and then my drum machine and then added my voice and guitar .
This beautiful film was made by UK artist Katie Lenton -@hungrykatiepilla . She found the 8mm film in a market in Budapest . Thinking she was buying an old Russian cartoon ,in turned out to be a family road trip in the 60s in Eastern Europe
Then she projected real smoke against a drum skin and cut out each individual plume of smoke . And that is what frames the images . It ended up being 700 frames all together . I think she did an amazing job .

I composed the music to a series of documentaries that won several awards for the charity Tearfund . My score consisted of string sections , piano and guitar . And a few beats for good measure .It was a really rewarding project .

ANYWHERE - my 3rd new tune ( a 1 min extract of ) to a slowed down rave sequence i found in an old film , then i put some weird stuff in at points . I’m now having fun with this imovie beast.

Heres a short film i scored called Papa a few years ago …. its got a bunch of excellent actors from ‘This Is England’ and various other legendary uk shows .. lovely performances . And im mostly proud of the score ( i would use my delicous piano in brooklyn now though . Enjoy
